stephanie + chris - muskoka maternity

about two months ago, i spent a beautiful day in muskoka at steph's family cottage. her baby bump was just perfect! chris was definitely not happy about taking the last photo, but he made a deal with steph- if he did it, then we could do a photo that he wanted to do. alas, our shoot ended with chris swan diving over steph's belly into the water. since then, baby evelyn has finally made her arrival (which was very overdue!) and i can't wait to meet her!

dana + rené - bean town ranch, ottawa wedding

i loved this wedding! dana and rené have such a beautiful thing going- and i'm so happy i was there to document the official beginning of their lives together as husband and wife. i had a blast hanging out with dana and her three beautiful sisters (and three more bridesmaids!) as they got ready before the wedding. my second shooter nicole spent some time with rené and the groomsmen before we all headed to the rustic ceremony site. bean town ranch is a great venue about 45 minutes outside of ottawa- geneviéve and her staff are amazing at what they do and they definitely work hard to create a beautiful, memorable and seamless day.

this was well worth the drive and i'd do it again!

anandi + sean - oakville engagement

anandi and sean...you rock my world. you put everyone around you at ease and make sure that the love is felt. anandi, you said it yourself- we are both feisty little creatures but perhaps that is why we get along so well! you are gorgeous, inside and out (and you clearly know how to turn it on for the camera!) and i am so grateful to call you a friend. your independence and strong will are something that others look up to. sean- i've been enjoying getting to you know more since you finally moved back to town, and i am SO stoked to be traveling to jamaica in october for your wedding. thank you for letting me be a part of such a great time in your lives!

dana + rené - ottawa engagement

things are back in full swing around here, so buckle up and get ready for the posts to start rolling in! i spent an afternoon in ottawa last weekend with this sweet couple, and i'm looking forward to spending this sunday with them on their big day! we got caught up and hung out on a patio with beer and nachos before we started shooting around the canal and in the arboretum, and i've decided there is no better way to start an engagement session! dana and rené are so lovely to be around- their easy going personalities and calmness are a great match and make them a pleasure to shoot. looking forward to sunday!
